Thank you to the parish
I am grateful to Bishop O’Kelly SJ who invited me to assume the ministry of Administrator of the Cathedral Parish following the appointment of Bishop Charles Gauci as Bishop of Darwin. I have enjoyed my time with the people of the Cathedral and felt your support throughout the past 11 months. Since the term of the appointment was uncertain, I did not get the opportunity to engage with the other parish communities, but I am pleased that each community now has its regular priest to serve them. So many people are involved in the life of the parish, and the commitment of priests, parish staff, sacristans, choirs, musicians and many other volunteers, along with the prayerfulness of parishioners and visitors, has been wonderful to experience. With my prayerful thanks to everyone and the assurance of continuing prayers.
